Still an asshole, but cleverer

Swimming and working out have made me a better person.

During the several years I regularly swam in different countries I lived in, I permanently faced the fact that people who looked totally unattractive when they were fully dressed revealed themselves as the opposite once they appeared wearing only swimming clothes, or naked. As soon as I learned that I started giving second opportunities to people who don't look so interesting at first sight.

Working out has been a wonderful opportunity to learn that also in a gym people can find proofs of how absurd are the ideas about the different nature of men and women. I have learnt that no matter their age, charm or physical beauty, women and men stink like hell when they sweat. I have extracted several practical conclusions from that observation, for instance regarding the need to keep a "safe-distance" if you want to flirt with someone, but the counterpart of your recently-hardened-bodies is that one or both of you are sweating like race horses.

Thanks to swimming pools and gyms nowadays I am a still superficial, but cleverer asshole.
